We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client's team. This position includes working closely with engineering teams to design, deliver and manage our services with high uptime.
The position is responsible for developing effective tools, alerts and responses to identify and address reliability risks, automate, implement, manage and maintain our databases, cloud-based servers, including provisioning, backup and restore, upgrade and monitoring.

Caring about security and keeping our servers up to date
Requirements
• Experience in managing application development, software delivery lifecycle and/or infrastructure development and management
• Experience in designing and implementing Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architectural models.
• Experience in code repository management, code merging and quality controls, continuous integration and automated deployment and management using tools such as Git, Selenium
• Experience with approaches and tools for automatic creation, delivery and release of software
• Experience in managing large teams, including progress tracking and reporting
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment
• Automation scripting experience using languages: Python
• Expertise in Linux system administration
• Experience or at least a high level understanding of cloud computing, high availability and high performance
• Demonstrate experience in the following areas:
• Operating Systems: Linux – Ubuntu
• Web Servers: Nginx
• Databases: MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MS SqlServer
• Experience in open source DevOps technologies such as Kubernetes, Saltstack, Consul, Terraform, Prometheus, Docker, Ansible
• Linux system-level analysis experience to identify and mitigate risks in the infrastructure
Nice to Have
• Excellent communication skills and strong collaboration skills, both oral and written (English).
• Good level of Spanish, German or Dutch is a plus
• Experience working with Git and Jira
